Law n ° 03-77 relating to audiovisual communication constitutes an important milestone in the process aimed at setting up the legal framework for the liberalization of this sector and which began with the promulgation of dahir n ° 1-02-212 of 22 joumada II 1423 (August 31, 2002) relative to the creation of the High authority of the audio-visual communication and the decree law n ° 2-02-663 of 2 rejeb 1423 (September 10, 2002) bearing suppression of the monopoly of the State in radio and television broadcasting, thus paving the way for the free enterprise of audiovisual communication
