In accordance with the objectives, axes and principles identified by the Orientation Law on the Information Society (LOSI), this law relating to electronic transactions (the word "transaction" being, here, taken in its current or economic sense and not in the classic legal sense of an alternative mode of conflict resolution) aims, in a global way, to promote the development of trade by Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) by laying down precise rules.
