45. In all proceedings before the High Court under this Act, the costs Costs of

46. Any party to any proceedings before the High Court may appeal in Appeals to
accordance with rules made under this Part from any order or decision of Supreme Court
that Court to the Supreme Court.

PART IX
OFFENCES AND PENALTIES
47. Any person who makes or causes to be made a false entry in the
register, or a writing falsely purporting to be a copy of an entry in the
register, or who produces or tenders or causes to be produced or
tendered in evidence any such writing, knowing the entry or writing to
be false, shall be guilty of an offence.

48. (1) Any person who-

(a)
falsely represents that a design applied to any article sold by him
is registered in respect of that article; or
(b)
after the copyright in a registered design has expired, marks any
article to which the design has been applied with the word "registered",
or any word or words implying that there is a subsisting copyright in the
design, or causes any such article to be so marked;
shall be guilty of an offence and liable to a fine of one thousand five
hundred penalty units or, in default of payment, to imprisonment for a
period not exceeding six months, or to both.
